Hi! I’m Danielle-the owner of Cactus Paws. I have been dog walking and pet sitting for 15+ years. I grew up in Indiana raising animals on the farm, while trying to sneak home every stray kitten that found me. Amidst my travels in the last decade, I have lived and worked with animals in four different states before settling here in Phoenix, Arizona in 2020. I have a handful of a rescued crew of my own, who found me in California, Alaska, and Colorado. Pet rescue and adoption is one of my biggest passions.
I walked dogs professionally in Los Angeles for about 5 years, meeting hundreds of dogs and cats…and I also cared for turtles, chickens, fish, and lizards! While in Denver, I worked at a local dog and cat adoption center and greatly improved my knowledge of pet care.
